Dr. Siuchi Suen

Siuchi Suen, O.D. is a therapeutic and glaucoma certified optometrist who provides comprehensive eye care for patients of all ages. Her experience includes diagnosing and managing a wide range of eye conditions, including refractive errors (nearsightedness, farsightedness and astigmatism), amblyopia, dry eye, red eyes, cataracts, glaucoma, macular degeneration and diabetic retinopathy.

Dr. Suen is a proud alumna from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), where she graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Psychobiology and a minor in East Asian Studies. She obtained her Doctor of Optometry degree in 2010 from the University of California Berkeley with recognition by the Beta Sigma Kappa Optometric Honor Society.

Dr. Suen’s training includes externships at the Veteran Affairs Health Care System in Fresno, OMNI Eye Services in New Jersey and Manhattan, San Francisco LightHouse Low Vision Clinic, and UC Berkeley Meredith Morgan University Eye Center. Earlier in her career, she served as a traveling optometrist for the Veteran Affairs Clinic in York, PA and at the Indian Health Service in White Earth, MN.

Dr. Suen is excited to join the team at OC Eye Associates. Her mission is to connect, communicate and work collaboratively with her patients to ensure her patients achieve their best visual potential. She speaks Cantonese Chinese and can provide exams in Spanish. In her free time, Dr. Suen enjoys leisure bike rides and impromptu picnics with her husband and three young children. She also loves traveling and exploring new cultures and cuisines.
